Stories of William Bruton - Second Son of Settler

                            In September 1860 took over the Swartkops Inn from a Mrs Fuller.

                            In baptismal records gives occupation as a Inn-Keeper (1849) and subsequently as an agriculturalist.

                            Ref: E.P.Herald, April 11, 1871;

                            Died at his residence, North End, PE.
                            Mr. William Bruton, aged 45 years.
                            The funeral will take place this (Tues) afternoon at 4 o'clock.
